Business Systems Coach for Contractors

My name is Alonso Reyna, and I bring over 18 years of combined experience in engineering, construction, and real estate. I started my career in 2004 as a design beginner, working alongside some of the brightest structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, civil, and architectural teams in the world. For 12 years, I served in a multidisciplinary engineering firm where I learned how buildings truly come together — from integrity to efficiency to coordination.

Throughout my engineering career, I worked on major projects including:

  • LACMA – Los Angeles County Museum of Art

  • Samsung Headquarters – San Jose, CA

  • Kaiser Permanente & UCLA expansions

  • San Diego Federal Courthouse

  • Guggenheim Abu Dhabi Museum

  • Additional work across Dubai, Mexico City (Torre Reforma), and other international builds.

Working beside elite engineers and architects taught me the fundamentals that most contractors never get access to — the structural backbone of a building, the discipline of design, and how to manage complex projects with precision.

In 2014, I stepped away from large developments and shifted my focus to serving homeowners and local communities. I launched my own construction operation, obtained my contractor’s license, and began offering design, blueprint drafting, plan approvals, and construction management for residential projects throughout Los Angeles and the Inland Empire.

By 2020, I expanded into real estate — buying, selling, investing, and walking clients through property transformations. This gave me a full 360° perspective: engineering, construction, project management, and real estate strategy.

Along the way, I fell in love with ADUs. I’ve been Designing and building ADUs for years, helping homeowners increase property value, generate rental income, and understand their return on investment long before they ever spend money on permits. Today, with my team at Premier ADU, we offer full design-build services and end-to-end consulting for homeowners and investors.

Now, I’m taking everything I’ve learned — the engineering systems, the field experience, the real estate strategy, and the business frameworks — and using it to help contractors and service providers build stronger companies.
